KSON's Cliff & Company "Buys A Tummy Ad"

KSON, San Diego's Cliff & Company morning crew contacted Amber, a local military wife who was offering advertising space on her pregnant tummy for the highest bidder on e-bay. After a week, the highest bid was only 250 dollars, so the show offered Amber $1000 to help her family.

This weekend Amber will walk the beaches of San Diego with her belly sporting the KSON logo for all to see. Also this weekend Cliff and Company will join a group of Navy Seals to raise money to help military families effected by Hurricane Katrina.

Next week the show will continue to give away free gas, starting Tuesday morning at 7 a.m. and every hour until 5 p.m, then, Louisiana-native Kix Brooks will talk to the station about the affects Katrina has had on his family and what plans Brooks and Dunn have to help victims. Brooks will also give us the first line for “Write A Song Wednesday,” where listeners will write the rest of the song to be prefomed later on the show. The songs are all available at KSON.com, with podcasting of the songs coming soon.
